careful features, easy interfaceI got this for my 11 year old son to get him off our 'well-proportioned' camera. I had a Vivitar enlarger in college, so I know their lenses are good distinction. I'm impressed by the photo quality, he figured out the interface almost immediately, and the penalty is more than right. I wonder about its durability but so far it's performed like a champ.
Video Okay- Photos Not So Monstrous
I bought this camera last summer (not from Amazon). It takes pretty proper video- the zoom is fair. But the photos are a disappointment. If you use any zoom at all the photos spell out grainy. I experimented extensively with the settings and there was no improvement. The unit itself is rather cool otherwise. The voice recorder works fine. I haven't downloaded any music to it so I can't allude to to using it as an mp3 player. The e-book reader works, but it is limited in period. I downloaded a public domain book just to see what it would look like and could only get a platter apportion of the book onto the unit. I have the 1 gig card that came with the unit so maybe a bigger use strategy act openly might be the answer.
I take the camera with me when I go places because of the video and the voice recorder. I've gotten obedient video outdoors and indoors if there's enough light. If you don't mind the problem anent grainy photos when you use the zoom, the unit is good, though I think a no pricey.
