Hi, I have a Sony DCR-DVD610E Hybrid Handycam, was wondering if it's possible to plug it into the video player somehow? I have some old rare videos I wish to back up, so I can watch them without damaging the tapes. And I'm afraid I'm not so good at this stuff, can anyone give me any hints/help or advice? Apart from get a new camera. Or anything really that might cost a bit. If it's not possible thanks for your answers anyway!
Some cameras have the ability to plug a video player into them and capture to your pc, you cant with yours. Maybe a friend may have a camera that you can do this with. if the video is not have any copyright on it there are plenty of companies that will for a few $/£ do it for you. there are also tape and dvd combined players/recorders. could you use one of those.
Pinicle do a converter that you can connect the AV cables from your Video player and connect them to it and into your pc converts it to digital
