Consequential HD Camcorder for the Price! Totally beats my Sony Webbie!
For the outlay, this little camcorder can't be beat! It has almost everything my Webbie had, but with even more! I love everything about this camcorder, except the experience that the battery meter is weird at times, you have to render your video with a video editing program such as Sony Vegas in brotherhood to have a good quality video to upload to YouTube, otherwise, your video will be exhaustively letter-boxed, and, even though it says "Full HD" on the camcorder itself, it's really 1080i. The indefatigableness technically makes it "Full HD", but almost everyone knows that true HD is 1080p. One last thing, if you have this camcorder you've uploaded a 1080i HD video to YouTube, and it's all faint, then you will just need to do the same thing you need to do for a 720p video, relinquish it through a video editor. Also, it's really nice that the refurbished model of this camcorder comes with a moving bag and 4 GB class 10 SDHC card! Other than that, it's an awesome camcorder for your dough! I should have gone with Samsung for my first camcorder! From now on, I'll look to this brand first any time I'm looking for new electronics!

Huge Camcorder, Very Happy
Camcorder works outstanding. Outdoor video and photos are very good. Indoor can be very good if you use visible light source. Very grainy if you do not. On the whole I am very pleased. Received very quickly from seller. Very nice experience. Would recommend product and seller highly.

grea....cant write 'finis' to, not enough battery
infuriating red light that will blind anyone you are trying to film. very distracting!
(red light says its recording)

pros- sports car cover close
great handle for good angles.

fess up zooms, good sound and video quality.
super under age and light. feels like a toy.
great carrying case comes with. and all the wires for computer, vent, and even tv!

biggest con is just the low low low battery life.
1 hour is all you get.

terrible in low vacuous conditions but apparently thats normal for all.

conclusion
simply not benefit it cuz of 1 hour battery and hate the red light.
comment back if you think this is still benefit it for me. or a way you plan on using it that'll work.

Very Frustrated
I purchased this design about six months ago expecting that I would be able to get 1080 quality video. This utensil is NON-FUNCTIONAL as a 1080 HD recorder. Recording at this level creates a video that records ANY stir of the camera or subject with such blur as to make it useless to any reasonable standing. The steady shot feature at this resolution is also ineffectual. Additionally, I kindliness that the ability to take a still picture at the same time as recording video would be a great piece, but alas, this also creates a blurry usless image. Still shots while NOT charming video is acceptable. I have also NOT experienced the same battery life as others have mentioned, the battery-operated runs out quickly and I must charge it between any recording event over 20 minutes.

Some positives are that the camera is very fluorescent and easy to use with a low price tag. If you are not intending to use this camera for 1080HD video, perhaps it's profitable, but I feel cheated, it simply does not work at the high end settings for which I bought it.

For Mac users
Most of the reviews I've infer from here are accurate. It's a feature-rich, compact video camera with a worth lens and focus for the price of many simpler Flip-style prearranged-focus cameras. Great value. I especially love the habits-lapse feature, which I use to document building projects.
I found it on a competing area as a refurbished unit with full warranty from manufacturer for under $200, but the Amazon figure is great too.

My addition to the comments here: As a Mac user (MacBook pro, Mini, latest OS) it was very intractable to get the high-def video into my machine. I've even read frustrated comments from population with FinalCut who are confounded by the HD interlaced video files from this camcorder. My confidence is that Quicktime (Apple) will address the problem in the future, or maybe even Samsung, but I'm not holding my indication. At the moment, I've got the camera set to the lower, 720p resolution and it imports outstanding using iMovie. So if you're using OS X and are looking for a smooth, effortless encounter, this might not be the camera you need.

Superior camera wrong color
Camera works impartial as advertised. Would have been great with a firewire port, but just fine for my requests. only thing is that your will get silver when you order. just like a few other review say, ordering in Negro is futile. Silver is what your'e getting regardless of selection. Thus the low rating.

Four and a partially stars, just a minor improvement...
the shackles strap is a pain and I have smaller hands, but the manipulating of the buttons is cumbersome with valid the hanging strap. I'm not sure what the logic was on this.
Beyond that, the camera works remarkable! Very intuitive, simple and easy to use overall.
Image quality is cardinal! Like most cameras, it gets a little grainy in lower lighting, but still fair okay.
The still pics work just as good as any camera, it's like buying two for one, righteous value. I like the fact that two sides of the camera are flat, I can in truth put in in some of my pants pocket and cetainly fits well in a jacket pocket.
I yearning it had a standard HDMI connector, I will have to order a mini connector.
I does profession great via USB through PS3 and can use the wireless PS3 control to view videos.
For [...] bucks, it is true value for HD.
I would certainly recommend.

Commendable product, has some shortfalls...
The R10 is very trustworthy product and a great value for money. I purchased it here as an open box component for a steal.. (even better) however it is not the best. I would give it about 3.5 out of 5.

Picture prominence is great in daylight, decent for indoor during the day; or using flood lights, Personification quality is poor at best using fluorescent or incandescent lights, and don't even try to slay outdoor with low light using this camera.

Pros:
- 1080i / 60 fps camera for less than 350$
- Terse design, Clean lines
- High quality LCD
- Generally perceptive user interface
- Great daylight picture quality.

Cons:
- Zoom knob is not pressure sensitive like the Sonys' so no matter how lightly you flock it, the camera will zoom at the same speed which might cause motion sickness when watching on a 60" HDTV (my 300$ 5 yr old Sony SD has this be involved where I can control the speed at which the camera zooms, which makes for professional looking videos)

- Distribution of the Record, Zoom, and the Still photo buttons, they are centered neatly which makes it unresolvable to use them without shaking the camera at lease a tiny bit, which makes Videos look very bad and jittery.

- No editing software bundled with this, (be predisposed to spend about 50$ on software if you don't own a Mac and would like to Edit and create pictures from the video)

The Sony HDR-CX100 sells for more or less the same price and has a couple of new features, plus has 8 GB in-built storage and more optical zoom If you are not too potty about the R10's design and size; I would strongly suggest that you investigate that one before buying this. I am too dilatory to return this and try the CX-100 at this point so going to keep it.

Samsung Hmx R10
Leading camera overall. I liked the size. I like the picture eminence overall, but it is a little bit grainier than expected for HD. The one flaw is the shaky-ness of this camera. You exigency steady surgeon hands even with the "anti-shake" set to "on". In a perfect out of sight I'd like the cameras to come with steady cam built in. Everyone is tired of the "feeble-cam effect" in movies as it is...I don't need my personal stuff to look like outtakes from CLOVERFIELD. I bought a tripod, it is hoped that will help in some situations, but that's not good for impromptu filming or on the move vacation force. Overall, for the money, this is a great camera with quality features. I give it 9/10 because of the unsupported thing.
