It is a consummate camera.I am very felicitous with this camcorder, I recently bought this because I was getting tired of my panasonic pvgs85 and unequivocal to upgrade to this, and I must say it produces very high quality videos for its price, I movie a lot of things like skateboarding, movies for projects, family garbage and all that jazz, but the thing that brought me down the most was the low lighting on this camera, it isnt too righteous so if your looking to make movies and such and night time then you should find another camera, but other than that the 3ccd proves itself, it has distinguished colors and its very lightweight. I give this camera a 4 out of 5 only becuase of the low light settings, but other than that its one of the first-rate I've ever purchased.
Video importance is not very good
Insufficiency to do manual adjustments if you want video to be less than lousy (still not very good, though). Looks appealing bad on a large TV.
Camera pics are normal video camera trait; not worth using.
I'll try again in a few years with a hi def video camera when the prices hit finish to what I paid for this model. My ancient video cameras take better video (vhs-c and mountainous old Canon mini dv).
Suitable Camcorder for its Time
When I started out as a video maker, I never dreamed they would invent a standard definition, broadcast quality camera you could exhibit in the palm of your hand, but here it is. With good lighting, a decent digital audio recorder and the set to rights software and editing, you could produce a TV documentary that would fool a professional! My one mourn is, by the year 2012, high definition will be so popular it will make this once prevailing format appear obsolete.
