Unmitigated Satisfaction
Panasonic did an far-fetched job of bring HD quality to a portable camcorder. The camera itself is pretty uncharitable making it very portable. The wind buffer is very good and filters out most if not all of the diminish. It has a feature for when you are trying to capture a time senistive event that when matter-of-fact that when you push the record button the camera actually captures about 15 secs one-time to you pushing the button. The quality of the videos are unmatched and the best part of the camcorder is that it takes but still photos and I find it easier to take still pictures than many digital point and shoot cameras. Very solid value for its cost. Only negative is the battery life could be a little less ill and the record and zoom button placement a little akward if you have bigger hands. Everything else is grat.

Astonishing value for the money
The fill someone in quality is amazing for the price. This is replacing a professional 3-chip camera we to begin with purchased for commercial production. This camera could be used for either home or programme production.

The tiny form factor didn't prevent Panasonic from giving the owner manual control over most camera functions. The menu system is similar to many dab hand cameras, but uses a touch screen instead of a mini-wheel. We found the touch screen easier to use. The low light performance is excellent, singularly given the small size.

Reading the manual before use is a must for this model. Most of the interfaces are occult behind panels. Some of the panels have a flimsy feel to them. The single manual camorra does limit what you can control at one time, but this should not be a big problem for most users.

The look detection system works well as does the auto-focus. The auto spotless balance is among the best we've seen.

Considerate piece of HD camcorder
I as one sees it do not have this model but I friend of my does and I have tried a couples of times so I will cynosure clear only in what I have used and note.

Plus:

* Huge capacity
* Vast of directions controls
* Nice looking
* Perfect for outdoor activities


Cons:

* have to do with screen might pose some difficulty for a person with large hands

* the editing software miss some improvements

* Low light performance is not the best

Overall it is a real right HD machine!!!

Promised to be change one's mind
I bought this camera as the most skilfully in 2009 according to VideoMaker Magazine. It is truly high resolution when you are near the subject, but if you are far away and use the digital zoom the image get pixeled.

Very problematical to use the HDWriter Program that comes with it.

Tremendous Camcorder- especially outdoors
OK, So I have acclimatized this camcorder for about 1 week. I think the outdoor shots taken with this camcorder are top dent and look fantastic. I play them back via my PS3 using the USB port and a SD card adapter on my 46" Mitsubishi LCD TV. I also convinced the videos to Apple TV format and they still look great. The indoor shooting seems to be most skilfully when you switch to manual. I would say these videos are good but not great. I had a Sony TRV38 before and that camcorder was worse indoors than the HS300. Keep in temper that I'm comparing the outdoor shots to indoor ones and all camcorder will be more intelligent outside. I will also say that they are still better as far as clarity and color than my old DVC camcorder. I will update this examination once I have some more footage shot. The transfer from hard drive to SD card works well. I won over a 30 minute Christmas morning video on my MAC in less than 20 minutes using the SD possible to transfer. So far I'm pretty please with using Imovie 09 to work with the files. Even though I have not worn it very long I would have no problem recommending it to a friend,

The HDC-HS350 is a cross-breed camcorder that records Full HD images either on an SD (or SDHC) Memory Card or the built-in 240GB untiring disk drive. A 32-GB SDHC Memory Card can keep back around 12 hours of recorded video clips (in HE mode). Kind HD Camcorder
The HS350 offers a humongous 240GB of hard drive storage which translates to 32 hours of 1080i widescreen footage. The HS350 can also agree to bear up to 32GB of external storage using SDHC cards and can record for about 1.5 hours when recording to the indisputable drive. The HS350 features 12X optical zoom lens and can take 10.6-megapixel still shots.

I want I could
Let me start by saying that I have had the antecedent model HDC-HS300-S for over a year now and I have no complaints. Every aspect of my camcorder is A to A+, I find it very friendly to use, with great manual features.

This new "Limited Edition" HDC-HS350 in almost the same camcorder, as far as the look the only strange is the color (Black or Silver the previous model vs. Gray the new one) everything else is the same in hint... But I have read some experts reviews and the Panasonic Specifications Manuals and there are some other believable differences besides the ones you can see;

Obviously it has double of memory (from 120 GB to 240 GB) they put the pre-rec purpose where the O I S was an vise versa so it is a lot easy to use, the performance in low light conditions and indoor is much advance, the touch screen is more responsive, 5.1 Dolby creator...

I give A+ in recording importance but still, the best about HS350 is not recording quality. It is no other word, massive amount of storage - 240GB! It means it would data HD video at 17Mbps in 1920 x 1080 resolutions for whopping 31 hours 40 minutes. If it is not enough, 100 hours are also tenable, in 1440 x 1080 at 6Mbps.

I wish I could afford the price because those pygmy differences make a whole lot of sense

It is only a paper money issue
I wasn't accurate about writing this review because it seems that this camcorder will never get officially into the USA market (by Panasonic). Since they introduced this one and the HDC-TM350 in Europe and Asia at the end of Sep, 2009, I have been tracking the prices and experts assessments and now I'm almost solid neither of those two (HDC-HS350 & HDC-TM350) will be offered by Panasonic in USA. These Semi-Professional High Def Camcorders are already out of moving picture and the prices have been ascending week after week by 5% to 10%.

This camcorder is an saving except option for those who are always rushing and do not have time to be on the PC every week uploading the recorded materials, you will have up to 30 hours in the highest blue blood before running out of space.

Plus:

+ Ton of Hard Drive (memory)
+ Dazzling Manual Functions
+ Very efficient [iA] Intelligent Auto Mode
+ 2 O.I.S modes to select from (the old mode + a new improved formula)
+ Easy to carry
+ Enhancement in low gegenschein compared with the old model HDC-HS300
+ Very nice still pictures (you won't need to buy a Photo Camera)
+ The Software included (HD Litt AE 1.5) is a lot better than the previous version but still not good enough

Minus:

- Freestyle does not last enough
- Touch screen not responsive adequate for people with big fingers
- If you are far to another place and use the digital zoom the image gets blurred
- There is no neck strap
- Can NOT be use at far up altitudes

Eventually with either of the new "Limited Edition" models you cannot go wrong, but now the question is to be able to get it from a trusty source at a reasonable price (around $1200) other than the dough issue you won't find or have any problem...

First purchase I've ever made! =)
The Panasonic HDC-HS350 HD Camcorder surprisingly captured my entire trip last month. No flaws what so ever.I spent 3 hours on the Eurostar coach from London to Paris,and I was able to film about half of the ride before the battery-operated ran out,I recommend you get one extended battery or have two of the regular ones.Futhermore, the figure of speech quality was outstanding;impressive HD quality.If you enjoy video taping,or if you are prevailing on a trip and want to have unforgettable memories that will beautifully last forever, this is the camcorder to own. I dont differentiate about you, but i really hate having to take out tapes and record over old ones. Luckily, this camcorder allows to note 30 hours of full High Definition.Im not an expert when it comes to editing videos,but with the included narcotic addict friendly software I was able to edit and easily create espectacular pictures.

I truly recomend this camcorder. It is unbeatable; the best purchase I've ever made.

Paraphernalia for travelers
This HD Camcorder seems to be a scant bit better in every aspect compared with the previous model (HDC-HS300) extra twice the memory capacity is just what the doctor ordered for populace that travel a lot, the 240GBs give you the possibility of recording for 30 hours in the highest photograph quality or more than 4 consecutive days (96 hours) in standard explication. The finish of the cables, charger and the camcorder itself is better, the editing software (HD Novelist AE 1.5) is more efficient, the USB cable is superior, and the O.I.S button is in better angle and has 2 modes with some improvements.

This is the camcorder to have if you are going to use it a lot or be traveling frequently or for unfolded periods of time.

The menu system is similar to many masterly cameras, but uses a touch screen instead of a mini-pedals. We found the touch screen easier to use. The low light performance is excellent, signally given the small size.

Reading the manual before use is a must for this model. Most of the interfaces are veiled behind panels. Some of the panels have a flimsy feel to them. The single manual give someone a buzz does limit what you can control at one time, but this should not be a big problem for most users.

The veneer detection system works well as does the auto-focus. The auto oyster-white balance is among the best we've seen.

Colossal Camcorder- especially outdoors

I play them back via my PS3 using the USB port and a SD card adapter on my 46" Mitsubishi LCD TV. I also won over the videos to Apple TV format and they still look great.
