The JVC GR-D370 MiniDV w/32x Visual Zoom features a powerful 32x high-performance optical zoom, 800x digital hyper-zoom, wide-ranging-screen 16:9 modes and a built-in tele-conversion lens. Thanks to a new sports car feature, the GR-D370 is extremely easy to use. With a simple touch of a handle, you can instantly switch between manual and automatic operation.

At the heart of the camcorder is a 1/6-inch 680,000 pixel CCD. Other features categorize a data battery function that displays time remaining with and without LCD use; busy slow, which records in slow motion while retaining real-chance audio; an Auto Illumi-Light mode for illuminating deep scenes; Power-Linked operation that turns on the power and puts the camcorder in standby style simply by opening the LCD; and a 2.5-inch LCD color monitor that delivers a luminous, clear image by reducing reflection and glares, even in bright sunlight. Colossal while it lasts
Everything confident written about this camera is true while the camera is working. Specifically formidable is the image quality (I shop for cameras like I shop for TVs...what's the essence I want to see? This looked sharper and more film-like than others in the store at the space).

If you're curious, we only had the 90 day warrantee and after two years it quit in storage. The machinery evaluation to fix it is around $50 last I checked, and ordering the suspected damaged bit (the CCD) bring in more than I bought the original camera for. Haven't yet found a place that'll recycle it since it's slenderize older, and I feel bad paying too much for replacement parts and worse for buying the consummate same thing over again.

I think I just joined that club of "Charge me more and strengthen a durable working product rather than making it cheaper and having it promised not to die within a incontrovertible timespan."

Detestable Camera and Service
First one I bought was simple upon purchase. Returned for new one at JVC advise. Second one broke after 5 uses and 6 months. Was told by JVC it would cost me $145.00 to adjustment. Total piece of junk and JVC will not stand behind their own product. Bought a Sony for about the same quotation and it is working just fine.

Probity product
I hardened this for several occassions now and I thought this was a good buy. I was able to transfer video to my computer harmonious easily. There is an SD slot on this for still pictures but nothing for moving video.

I'm hesitant to buy newer cameras with Well-defined Drive capabilities or High Definition, because they cost way too much right now. It'll go down by next Christmas, but until then, I'll take up the cudgels for to this one.

JVC MiniDV Camcorder
Didn't like this camera when I got it. Now that I've in the end figured a few more things out on it I like it better. Works good and takes talented pictures or movies. I wish it had a light on it as it doesn't work to meet on any dark shots. Can be complicated to figure out but, all in all a good camera. Compacted in size.

what a zealous zoom feature
been using now for some in good time always I really like the 32 optical zoom man its good. I manoeuvre lots of golf and I was able to zoom in on the group in front of me over 200 yards to another place. Too bad camera did'nt come with a stabilizer.. cause it really flutters when you zoom in so far to another place..Hey JVC make next camera with some stabilizing for this price....

Friendly to Use
The outcome is compact and portable, seems solid and well made. The zoom is good, and the functions are all passably simple. Hooks up to a tv easily enough.

The nigh vision feature, while providing improve visibility, creates more of a strobing effect than I would have liked. Also, I have not yet figured out how to haul video to a computer (I have the right cable), but I haven't tried too hard to sculpture it out.
