Everio SD Be forthright Camcorder BlueCustomer Reviews
Tolerant to use and clear picture qualityI purchased this camcorder in November of 2009. I ordered this upshot in red. It is very easy to use and the picture quality is very clear. The strap on the side is a bit small if you have larger hands, or fancy fingers. It is very sturdy as I have dropped it twice and it has not even scratched! Transferring your videos onto your computer is very amicable as well. Overall a well made product.
Still pictures come out a bit blurry.
Secure product for the price
Tasteful camcorder. Easy to use and stores videos on SD cards. Memory is expandable. OK quality videos. The cam is pretty small, so people with big hands might aspect difficulty in handling it.
unpractical
It absolutely shouldn't be difficult. Engineer a camera that saves video files in a dimensions that can be readily copied and pasted so that they can be read by any computer. Instead, JVC locks you in to their proprietary video dimensions that is really only good at doing one thing - showing the video on the camera's viewscreen. So much about this camera seems beneficial. Awesome zoom. Dual SD card slots, reasonable price, etc. etc. But thats all well and esteemed until you actually try to work with the video you've shot. A typical over-engineered breeze scolding of junk that assumes all consumers are dumb and won't want to use anything but its own specialized computer software. The geniuses at JVC must be so red-faced by the junk processing software that it isn't (A) resident on the camera so when sharing with other computers it can be ready, (B) downloadable off their website, (C) barely acknowledged as even existing on their website. Do yourself a favor and don't get wowed by the specs or the appraisal. If you can't use the video you've shot - what is the point of shooting it in the first place? Or buying a camera to sucker it with? Buy something better.
An Astounding Little Camera!
The first fetich I thought when I opened the box was - "Wow this thing's tiny!" It's packaged in a rather pre-eminently a free box with a lot of padding. The small size is great, though. It makes taking a video camera with you easier than ever!
As for peace of use, the Everio MS120 is second to none! In the first ten minutes of opening it, I took a couple of minutes to critique the manual (failure to read the manual is the cause of most bad reviews for any technology piece) and made sure that I knew what I was doing, connected the battery, plugged in the power adapter, inserted my SD slated, recorded a short video, took out the SD card, put the SD card into my computer and watched the video - like I said - all in the first 10 minutes.
I'm not solid why people had so much trouble (in reference to previous reviews). I should say that I'm an IT Expert, so technology is an everyday thing for me, but this camera is still easy for anyone to use.
One problem that residents may have had is that they didn't use the included CD's to get the codec for the .MOD format (which is already built in to Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems), and it is traditional that without this, you won't be able to work with the format for video editing or anything else.
The video excellence is amazing, as well. It looks even better on my computer and on DVD (I had a DVD all burned using Windows DVD maker within the first hour of vernissage the camera) than it did on the camera. Anyone with problems with quality may have a problem with their settings or perhaps even their lens.
I would give this camera 5 stars any day!
Flicks Camera
It is very mild to use, but very difficult to save movies to a disc. After working on it for 6 hrs, still have not figured it out, not steadfast what to do next.
