Most appropriate Price to Value!!!!
I got his camera for $600, and it was a superlative purchase. First, the camera is very compact which makes it easy to carry around. Even with its square footage, it has a 30GB storage and a 10x opitical zoom. I like the f/1.8 Konica Minolta lens, which focuses very pronto and takes some great-looking still photos. The 7-megapixel sensor also helps with its recording. Videos are recorded in MPEG shape so it is very esay to transfer onto your computer for editing; no conversion necessary. Colors were very pleasing and bloodless balance was also good. Definitely worth purchasing
Careful camera but beware of the file format
I genuinely like this camera. It is compact, shoots nice stills and has integrity sound qualities. The interface is intuitive and I was tweking settings liberty out of the box with little or no reference to the manual. It is perfect for quick family videos and frenzy in a small camera bag, making it easy to transport. The problem is when you slip long videos and want to edit them down. I have found that for my purposes the .MOD format this camera produces is old and has to be swayed to .avi or .wmv for the sort of editing I want to do. That means a very long conversion handle through the supplied software, which I did not find particularly usable or helpful. The autofocus also has issues indoors in normal lighting and the image stabilization is not the best out there. If you want a happy cam to grab shots of the kinsmen and friends, then this is a really good buy. Otherwise, spend the extra and go for a unit that has more spring with its video outputs. I started out loving this camera , but every day I find something else I dislike about it.
