Excelent camcorderThis camcorder is intimate! Fits perfectly in your hand and the video quality is amazing. Its tight shape and weight is really good to transport and use it. Best camcorder I had seen.
Fully awesome camera
I have perchased and inured to JVC products for many many years. I had no doubt that I would be totally satisfied with this camera and I undoubtedly have not been disappointed. I highly recommend this product.

Wasn't Astonished by its video quality
I bought this video camera because I wanted HD of ambit, but I also liked the small size and the salesman was pretty darn healthy of selling this thing out the door.
1. I haven't figured out how to burn the HD to DVD on the highest video location. I'll keep working it - but when you set this thing at the highest quality video, it tells you you won't be qualified to export this to DVD.
2. Agree, the software that comes with it is not super easy to use.
3. Video standing suffers in low lighting such as indoors. The picture looks grainy (even when you use the video lamplight). Outdoors in excellent light, colors and visuals are exalted.
4. Playing the videos back on my PC strains the PC memory and CPU. Even with a dual-core processor, 512 video driver, and 3 gigs of RAM - it's still soporific / choppy. I'm better off playing directly from the camera to my TV.
5. As always, buy the bigger battery-operated.
That's my 2 cents - I'll probably learn more as I continue to figure out its settings.
not so beneficial
I recieved the upshot in great condition and it shipped very fast.
When I began playing around with this camcorder, i was open-mouthed at the video quality. However, utilizing the software that ships with this camcorder is a misery in the ***. Every warm fuzzy feeling I get operating the camera, dissapears in a flick when I attempt to do anything with the video stored in the HDD. Shame on JVC for shipping a good camcorder with such crappy software (MediaBrowserHD version). Shame on Pixela for making such a POS! To realize the full potential of this device, I have to toe-hold a decent program to export, edit, burn to BD and enjoy my video.
