Customer Reviews

OK.. for a 13 year old to have fun with.
I got this for a 13 year old and I mull over it will be just fine for a 13 year old. I don't think I would use this as a family video camera. It's not the most suitable quality, but ok for a teenager. I did test it out and it seems ok, but I didn't download the video on the computer, at best played it back on the lcd. Sound seems a little low. The light seems fine and shakeyness was only when I didn't unfaltering my hand. Overall feel of this seems a little cheaply made. It's very light until you put the 2 AA's in. I paid [...] at another "leviathan retailer" and I debated taking it back after reading the reviews here, but like I said, it is for a youth, so I will probably keep it. Although, I would NOT pay 239.00 which was supposedly the retail price.
Get what you pay for. Peradventure Even A Little Less Than you Pay For!
I was fagged out to buy this product because no one had reviewed it. I've never written a review myself but I think I should put a stop to this sentiment's despicable anonymity.

It's a HD camera purported to have been squeezed into a tiny help held shape for a mere 130 some dollars.

Yes, That's right... it's way too proof to be true.

The long and short is... because of the high(er) resolution (this is 720p not 1080i --full HD present standard) the actual frame rate of your films will be around 15fps, not the reported 30 fps. The follow-up is nauseatingly jumpy video. Couple that with lackluster low light abilities and a right crappy image stabilization system and you get video that is UNWATCHABLE.

I returned mine and am booming to get the more proven and able Flip Video Ultra.

I know it's below cost, so maybe I should go easy but... It doesn't really do anything but produce unwatchable video. What would I pay for that? Not $100, not &10 not nothin'!

Stopover Away.
