Trait performanceThis camera exceptionally met and exceeded my expectations. It does crystal clear work which is very benificial to our the church.
Departed footage..worst technical equipment I've ever owned
My baptize says it all. I've lost footage several times, corrupt discs all the age. The worst part is, it makes you think you're recording, and then you go to play it back, and it's not there. This is a certified serving of junk. Mine may just be a lemon based on other reviewers, but why take the risk when it comes to recording fun memories?
i preference it
there are two things i do not like. #1 it does not wound in the dark very well. But i have read there are settings i can adjust. # 2 it wasnt outspoken.
Everything else is great
This camcorder doesn't calling for Apple Mac's
I bought this for my sister as a alloying present. The camera has a lot of good features. But when they used a set of DVDs on it, they found that only 1/2 of the discs they Euphemistic pre-owned would record correctly. not sure if the problem is with the disks or formatting.
More importantly, this camcorder does not grant for the video to be transferred to Apple Mac's. It only allows images taken with the camera to be transferred. This is a big dejection and we will have to sell this camera on Ebay now or something.
Usually i'm a big fan of Canon camcorders and camera's. I'm on my 2nd Canon camcorder now and neutral bought a digital camera. But Canon should have made this camera with support for Mac's. its ridiculous.
NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS
I bought this camcorder in December 2005. I asked the sales-clerk at PC Richards for the best camcorder and this is what he gave me. It's like a small malfunctioning computer. I sent it back to the works to be fixed and they sent it back to me with only half the functions working. I overpaid for it $629 and now can't get rid of it for 1/2 the expenditure. Although the picture quality is good, it is a pain to operate. The little discs only take down 30 minutes and to erase something is a major ordeal. For all you looking go with digital stripe! It is much better.
